“Groundhog Day the Musical” at San Francisco Playhouse through January 18
The Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell film comedy “Groundhog Day” from 1993 has been turned into a musical by Danny Rubin and Tim Minchin; it premiered a few years ago at the Old Vic, and San Francisco Playhouse presents the Bay Area premiere. See details.
Nicole Miller: “To the Stars” at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art through December 8
Nicole Miller's "To the Stars" is an immersive exploration of identity, voice, pain, and possibility. Commissioned by SFMOMA and designed for the museum's Wattis Theater, this new work combines video and sound elements with a dynamic laser-light display. See details.
