AXIS Dance Company's “In·ter·twine” at ZSpace: October 25-October 27


In·ter·twine features AXIS Dance Company's first international commission under Artistic Director Marc Brew, the world premiere of "Alice in Californiland" from renowned choreographer Arthur Pita who describes the piece as a 'psychedelic tragedy.'  See more details and get tickets.


“The Most Famous Symphony Ever Written” at San Francisco Chamber Orchestra: October 25-October 27


Music Director Ben Simon and the orchestra offer a tour of what they call classical music’s greatest hit, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, taking the audience through the 1808 masterpiece with commentary and musical samples before playing it straight through. Sharing the bill is the Faust Overture by German Romantic Emilie Mayer.  See more.
